PARTICIPATORY EVALUATION AND SOCIAL LEARNING

A NEW EPISODE OF THE EVALPARTICIPATIVA PODCAST

We continue to share the knowledge and feelings of colleagues and friends who are leaders in participatory evaluation in Latin America and other regions as well. In these podcasts we want to give a close and human perspective, where evaluative practice is closely linked to the personal experiences, stories and territorialities of the interviewees.

In this episode, Sergio Martinic, from the Patagonia region in Chile, reflects on the close links between participatory evaluation and opportunities of social learning. Sergio is an anthropologist from the University of Chile, holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from FLACSO (Mexico) and a PhD in Sociology from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). He actively participated in the founding of the Latin American Monitoring, Evaluation and Systematisation Network (ReLAC) and the Chilean Evaluation Network. He has been an active enthusiast and collaborator of EvalParticipativa, illuminating reflections and learning from his deep experience and intellectual generosity.
