WE EMBARK ON A NEW JOURNEY!

The EvalParticipativa Podcast

Today we welcome you to this new channel of exchange and articulation with our community of practice and learning (Spanish).

In each of its chapters we want to get to know and share the knowledge and feelings of different key players of participatory evaluation in Latin America and other regions as well. The podcasts aim to give a close and human perspective, where the professional intersects with the personal, and the evaluative practice appears closely linked to the personal experiences, stories and territorialities of the interviewees.

In this first season of the EvalParticipativa podcast, we have ten guests who will share their practice and their lives. Each conversation about their experience of evaluation will be informed by their wishes, fears, hopes and feelings. Each episode can be used for personal learning and growth, as well as for training and education in participatory evaluation.

The podcasts are approximately 30 minutes long and are available on Spotify, iVoox and, in audiovisual format, on the EvalParticipativa YouTube channel.

We invite you to share this journey with each of our guests, as well as to share this dissemination channel with colleagues and contacts in the field of evaluation.

In chapter 1 we present “An evaluation enriched by the plurality of voices”, by Alejandra Faúndez, a Chilean evaluator living in Mexico, who reflects on her evaluation practice in the region, which is informed by the voices of women, indigenous peoples and social movements.

Greetings from the EvalParticipativa coordination team.
